  • Southwestern Christian have Won Five of the Last Six Games, Upsetting No.3 seed USAO on the Road 67-62 in SAC Quarterfinals, MJ Case dropped 30 pts in the Game and beating No.7 seed Langston 66-51 in the SAC Semifinals.
  • Eagles during that stretch scored 60+ points and shot over 40% from the field in four of those games, the games they did not shoot over 40% was the USAO Quarterfinal game and the lone loss to John Brown at the end of the season.
  • The Eagles making their first ever appearance in a Semifinal and drew Langston, who swept the Lady Eagles during regular season play, it shows it is very hard to beat a team Three times in one season.   • After suffering a 67-48 loss on the Road to Southwestern Christian on Jan. 28th  to drop to 12-9 with a 8-7 mark in Sooner Athletic Conference play, Wayland Baptist fared well in the last half of SAC competition as the Flying Queens won seven-straight to secure the No.4 Seed entering tournament play.
  • WBU enters into the Championship game as the No. 3 scoring team in the SAC, averaging 74.8 ppg on the league's second-best shooting percentage (43.3%) and are also the top Assist team at 18.9 assist per game. The Flying Queens rank No.3 in Defense shooting average forcing opponents to take tough shots at (36.3%).
  • Offensively, Wayland Baptist are led by Senior forward Jenna Cooper-Jackson, who is notching 19.8 ppg while leading the conference in scoring with 438. The Flying Queens also gets some strong production from Kaitlyn Edgemon in the low-post, not only averaging 18.6 ppg and a team-best 7.1 rpg with 214 overall, but is also leading the team with steals at 58.
