OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The Southwestern Christian University women's basketball program is celebrating success beyond the hardwood, as five student-athletes have been named NCCAA Scholar-Athletes for their outstanding work in the classroom.

Chrissen Harland, Landri Hussey, Jayden Mason, Alexus Robertson, and Brooke Robertson each earned the honor, representing the program's commitment to excellence both academically and athletically.

The NCCAA Scholar-Athlete recognition is awarded to upperclassmen who maintain a minimum 3.40 cumulative GPA while actively competing in their sport. It is one of the association's most prestigious academic honors, highlighting discipline, consistency, and dedication.

For the Lady Eagles, this recognition reflects the culture being built within the women's basketball program.

Their achievement underscores the program's emphasis on developing well-rounded student-athletes who succeed in all areas of their collegiate experience.

As the women's basketball team continues to grow on the court, honors like this reinforce that their impact extends far beyond the game—setting a standard for future Lady Eagles to follow.
