Southwestern Christian University women's basketball faced a tough road test Friday afternoon, competing against Langston University in conference action at C.F. Gayles Field House.

The Eagles worked to stay within reach early, battling through defensive pressure and physical play. Langston was able to build momentum as the game progressed, creating separation through efficient scoring and strong rebounding.

SCU continued to compete throughout the contest, showing effort on both ends of the floor and fighting for every possession. Despite the final result, the game provided valuable experience against one of the conference's top programs.

Southwestern Christian will look to regroup and refocus as conference play continues, aiming to build on the lessons learned from the road matchup.
