Southwestern Christian University proudly hosted the Southwestern Christian Invitational on September 2–3, 2025, at Earlywine Golf Course in Oklahoma City. He was the only player in the field to finish under par, proving his ability to rise to the occasion under pressure. Freshman Caden Stevens also posted a solid tournament, finishing tied for second at +2, giving SWC two players inside the top three.
Other Eagle contributors included Andrea Matlega (+17), Matthew King (+15, playing for the B team), and Carter Jarrett (+22), each gaining valuable tournament experience in a strong field.
Southwestern Christian also fielded a B team, which finished seventh overall at +126, showing the program's depth and giving younger players competitive rounds early in the season
Hosting this year's invitational not only allowed the Eagles to showcase their talent but also highlighted the school's commitment to building a nationally competitive golf program. With Branstetter's individual win and the team's runner-up finish, Southwestern Christian has set a strong tone for the fall season.
