Southwestern Christian University's men's golf team took part in the Texas Intercollegiate, held September 8–9, 2025, at Hawks Creek Golf Club in Westworth Village, Texas. The event, hosted by Texas Wesleyan, brought together strong NAIA programs across the region.
On the team leaderboard, Southwestern Christian finished 9th overall, posting a combined score of +23 across three rounds (scores of +12, +5, and +6)

Individually, several SCU players delivered determined performances:

Dawson Branstetter led the squad, finishing at -3 for the tournament and tying for 10th place overall

Andrea Matlega finished at +9, while teammates Matthew King (+9), Caden Stevens (+11), and Carter Jarrett (+18) rounded out the Eagles' scoring efforts.
The field was highly competitive, with Blinn College capturing the team title at an impressive -29, and Texas Wesleyan's Brady Meek winning the individual title at -13.
Though Southwestern Christian placed in the lower half of the standings, Branstetter's top-10 finish highlighted the team's potential against some of the strongest NAIA golf programs in Texas.
