Southwestern Christian University men's golf turned in a competitive showing at The Battle at Winter Creek, hosted by the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) at Winter Creek Golf & Country Club, highlighted by Dawson Branstetter's top-five finish.

Branstetter fired rounds of 67, 74, and 71 to finish at 2-under par (-2), tying for third place individually. His consistent play across all three rounds helped pace the Eagles against a strong NAIA field.

Gaspard Marechal finished tied for 28th at +14, while Matthew King (+29), Andrea Matlega (+40), and Carter Jarrett (+41) rounded out the team's scoring for SCU.

Texas Wesleyan's Brady Meek claimed medalist honors at -8, followed by USAO's Conner Cryer at -5.

The event featured top programs from across the Sooner Athletic Conference and beyond, with challenging pin positions and gusty winds testing every player's short game.

The performance marks continued improvement for the Eagles as they prepare for their Spring tournaments on the NAIA circuit.
