A standout season on the course has earned Dawson Branstetter national recognition, as the sophomore golfer from Southwestern Christian University was named to the 2026 NAIA PING All-Region Team. Branstetter was selected as one of just 16 golfers honored on the West Region team, highlighting his strong play throughout the 2025-26 campaign.

The NAIA PING All-Region Teams, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America, recognize the top collegiate golfers from across the country who demonstrated consistent excellence during the season. Branstetter's inclusion among the West Region's elite marks a significant achievement for both the rising sophomore and the Eagles golf program.

Representing Southwestern Christian among some of the top golfers in the NAIA, Branstetter joined a West Region list that included athletes from nationally respected programs such as Oklahoma City University, Wayland Baptist University, and Texas Wesleyan University. His selection underscores the impact he has already made early in his collegiate career while continuing to elevate SCU men's golf on the regional stage.

A native of Enid, Oklahoma, Branstetter is listed as a sophomore for the Eagles and has emerged as one of the key contributors in Southwestern Christian's lineup. His steady performances throughout the season helped place him among the premier golfers in the region and earned him one of the NAIA's notable postseason honors.

For Southwestern Christian, Branstetter's recognition continues a positive trend for the program, showcasing the growth of Eagles golf and the level of talent competing in Oklahoma at the NAIA level. As he continues his collegiate career, the All-Region honor adds another milestone to what appears to be a promising future on the links.
