In a remarkable display of skill and consistency, Southwestern Christian University's Eagles shined at the collegiate golf tournament held in Lubbock, Texas on March 9th & 10th, 2025. Grant Ferreira led the charge for the Eagles, clinching the first place with an outstanding total score of 214, finishing under par despite a challenging final round.

The Eagles faced off against several other competitive schools such as Wayland Baptist, Park-Gilbert, Texas A&M-San Antonio, University of Southwest, Crowder, Hope International, and Oklahoma Panhandle. Among other notable performances from Southwestern Christian was Ben Skero, who secured a commendable 4th place. Enrique Galindo and Dawson Branstetter also made significant impacts, both tying for the 20th position.

Ferreira's performance was particularly stellar, demonstrating great resilience and skill by scoring -2 under par across the tournament and maintaining composure even with a +1 in the last round. This victory not only showcases the prowess of individual players but also highlights the depth of talent within the Eagles' golf team as they continue to make their mark in college sports.
