DALLAS, TX — Southwestern Christian University Eagles men's and women's golf teams both claimed first place in a spirited tournament held in Dallas on February 24, 2025. This remarkable achievement marked their first win of the season, setting a high standard for upcoming events.

The men's team saw standout performances, with Grant Ferreira leading the pack and securing the first place individually. Teammates Ben Skero and Dawson Branstetter also shone brightly, finishing in third and fourth places respectively. On the women's side, Carley Haught led the Eagles to victory by clinching second place individually, closely followed by Victoria Wiedel and Katie Moore, who secured third and fifth places.

"This victory is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our athletes," stated a coach from Southwestern Christian University. "We are incredibly proud of both teams and look forward to carrying this momentum into the next event at Lakeridge CC in Lubbock, TX on March 10, 2025."
