Three student-athletes from the Southwestern Christian University women's volleyball program were recognized for excellence in the classroom as recipients of the 2025 NCCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athlete Award.

Honored Eagles include Angeles Betancourt, Brianna DeVries, and Megan Graham.

To be selected for this national academic honor, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4, highlighting dedication to academic excellence while competing at the collegiate level.

These three athletes have demonstrated outstanding commitment by balancing practices, matches, travel, and coursework throughout the academic year. Their recognition reflects their determination not only to succeed athletically, but also to thrive academically.

The NCCAA Scholar-Athlete Awards program honors college athletes across the nation who achieve high academic standards while participating in intercollegiate competition. Their achievement also underscores the strong culture of accountability within the SCU women's volleyball program.

Southwestern Christian University is proud of these recipients for representing the Eagles with integrity and distinction — both in the classroom and on the court.
