DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.—Southwestern Christian University takes two teams to the NCA Collegiate Cheer Championship this year, Large Coed NAIA & All Girl team.

The All Girl is coming back champs of their division and bringing home a huge trophy and will be getting championship rings. This is the 2nd time an All Girl team has competed at nationals and both times they have won. Their first day score was 94.04 leading their division by 8 points and then the second day they would score an even better score of 94.47 and win but 9 points. 

Advanced Large Coed found themselves in second place after the first day with a score of 91.91. Westcliff University led their division with a score of 93.48 on the first day. SCU would hope to bounce back on the second day to score a perfect score but would end up with a second day score of 88.85. So they ended up in second place and look forward to next year bringing back home the National trophy.
