Bethany,OK.-- The Senior Thamires Andrade (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) etched her name in the SCU record books Saturday night against cross-town Rival Oklahoma City even though it was spoiled by an overtime loss, it doesn't make the achievement any less great. She only need 7 points that night to break the 1,000 point barrier, she kept playing hard until the final buzzer of the game where she finished the momentous night with a Double-Double. That night against OCU, Andrade finished with 20 pts, 11 Rebs, 7 Ast, and 1 Stl. Thamires Andrade is 5th all-time in scoring for SCU Women's Basketball. She currently has 1,013 points, she is 265 points from breaking current Assistant Coach Andi McGill Record of 1,278 career pts.
