BETHANY, Okla.-- First up in today's student-athlete spotlight is sophomore, Jasmine Taplin!

Jasmine competes in Track & Field and is also a member on the women's basketball JV team. She is from Edmond, Okla. and went to Edmond Santa Fe High School. She competed on a relay team at the track & field state championships all four years of high school.

During her freshman season with the Track & Field team, Taplin helped the 4x100 meter relay team collect two top-5 finishes with a 4th place finish at the Tabor College Invitational and a 2nd place finish at the SCU Twilight Qualifier. 

Taplin has also competed in the open 100 and open 200 during her time with SCU, collecting a personal best of 13.80 seconds in the 100 and 28.93 seconds in the 200.
