Southwestern Christian University women's track and field opened the indoor season on January 10 at the Friends University First-Chance Qualifier in Wichita, Kansas, gaining valuable early-season experience against strong regional competition.

The Eagles were represented in multiple events throughout the meet, highlighted by a solid performance in the women's 400 meters. Camryn Miller competed in the event and posted a time of 1:05.06, finishing 11th overall as she continued to build momentum early in the indoor campaign. Miller also entered the 600 meters and 800 meters, using the meet as an opportunity to gain race experience at multiple distances.
In the field events, Lola Hester competed in the women's shot put, recording a best mark of 10.12 meters (33 feet, 2.5 inches) to place 14th overall. Her performance marked a strong start to the season and set a foundation for improvement moving forward.
