WESTWORTH VILLAGE, Texas — Southwestern Christian women's golf battled through three tough rounds at Hawks Creek Golf Club, finishing tied for eighth at the 2025 Texas Intercollegiate, hosted by Texas Wesleyan. The Lady Eagles posted a three-round team score of +174, tying the University of the Southwest on the final leaderboard

Individually, Katie Moore led the way for SCU, closing the tournament at +46 (rounds of 92, 87, 83). She was followed by Taylor Frazier at +50, Victoria Wiedel at +53, and Emily Shelton at +57, while freshman Gabriella Honesto rounded out the lineup at +62
.
Despite the challenges, SCU showed resilience, highlighted by Moore's improvement in her final round and steady contributions across the lineup. The event served as an early-season measuring stick for the Lady Eagles as they continue building momentum against strong NAIA competition.
Southwestern Christian will look to use the experience from Hawks Creek as fuel for their upcoming fall tournaments.
