BLANCHARD, Okla. — Southwestern Christian University women's golf earned a ninth-place finish at the SCU Invitational held this week at Winter Creek Golf & Country Club, closing out the tournament with a total team score of +200 on the par-71 course.

Katie Moore led the Eagles with a strong showing, finishing 26th overall at +33 after posting a +14 final round that included a solid front-nine 40. Victoria Wiedel followed at +46, Emily Shelton carded +63, and Taylor Frazier rounded out the lineup at +58.

Despite challenging course conditions and gusty winds, the Eagles maintained consistency across all three rounds, improving in stretches and showing steady play throughout the back nine.

The event provided valuable experience for SCU's young lineup, who will look to build on the effort as the fall season continues. The Eagles next turn their focus to upcoming conference competition, aiming to tighten scores and climb the leaderboard in their next outing.
