Southwestern Christian University baseball proudly announces that three of its standout athletes have been honored with National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American recognition following an impressive 2025 season.

Leading the honors is pitcher Elian Cuevas, who was named to the NCCAA First Team All-American. Cuevas delivered dominant performances on the mound all season long, anchoring the SCU pitching staff with consistency and poise.

Joining him on the prestigious list is Jhors Gomez, who earned Second Team All-American honors. Gomez was a force at the plate and a dependable presence in the infield, showcasing both power and precision in key moments throughout the year.

Rounding out the trio is Matys Gagnon, who was named to the Third Team All-American. Gagnon's leadership behind the plate and his offensive production helped fuel SCU's strong season.

The recognition of Cuevas, Gomez, and Gagnon is a testament to the talent and hard work within the SCU baseball program, and each player has left a lasting impact on the team's success this year.
