Southwestern Christian University senior Jhors Gomez capped off a standout 2025 season by earning national recognition as a Third Team All-American from both the ABCA/Rawlings and the NAIA. The Dominican Republic native, who played second base for the Eagles, was a key offensive force throughout the year.

Gomez posted a .428 batting average, ranking among the top hitters in the NAIA. He collected 77 hits and drove in 53 runs, while maintaining a .687 slugging percentage . His performance earned him a spot on the 2025 NAIA Baseball All-America Third Team

In addition to his national accolades, Gomez was recognized as the Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week in April 2025 . His consistent offensive production and leadership were instrumental in Southwestern Christian's success this season. 

Gomez's achievements highlight his dedication and skill, marking him as one of the top players in NAIA baseball for the 2025 season.
