Six members of the Southwestern Christian University women's soccer program were recognized for excellence in the classroom as recipients of the 2025 NCCAA Division I Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete Award.

Honored Eagles include Shosona Graham, Reese Howsen, Abbi Johnson, Maddie Krone, Lorelai Puglisi, and Riley Stanfill.

To be selected for this national academic honor, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4, highlighting a commitment to academic excellence while competing at the collegiate level.

These six Eagles exemplify what it means to be true scholar-athletes — balancing intense training schedules, travel, and competition with the demands of coursework. Their hard work and discipline in the classroom match the determination they bring to the field each season.

The NCCAA Scholar-Athlete program recognizes student-athletes across the country who maintain high academic standards while participating in intercollegiate athletics.
