Bethany, Okla.-- Southwestern Christian(8-9, 6-8 SAC) were unable to overcome their halftime deficit as  the Langston University Lions ran away with the game 83-60 . The Lions shot 30-64 from the field(46%).

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 24-65(37%) from the floor, while shooting 5 of 26 (19%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 7 for 15 (47%) from the free throw line. The bench of SCU contributed 13 points. Shawn Hopkins finished as the Eagles top scorer with 14 points. Southwestern had 44 rebounds on the day, 25 on the defensive glass. SCU ended the day with  15 assists overall.  Bralen Patterson finished the day with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 1 block .

Southwestern Christian returns to action at home on January 26th at 7:30 PM against OPSU for another Sooner Athletic Conference matchup.
