Eagles season comes to end at NCCAA Baseball World Series

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Kansas City,MO.-- Southwestern Christian(26-27) Baseball season comes to disappointing end at the NCCAA World series after dropping two games in Pool play, they started the NCCAA World series against University of Northwestern (MN.) losing that one 9-5 in day one and in day two playing Kansas Christian and losing this one 7-2. The Eagles ended the regular season with 26-27 record after going 0-2 in the NCCAA World Series. SCU finished 7-17 in SAC conference play. The Eagles had a 19-11 record at home and a 5-10 record on the Road. Southwestern Christian haven't finished a season below .500 since the program was started back in 2014. The Eagles started the season well before entering conference play at 10-4, but after injuries to almost half of the starting lineup the Eagles struggled in conference play, only picking up their second conference win after a 1-13 SAC conference start. But playing teams outside of the Sooner Athletic Conference the Eagles went 19-5 in non-conference play. This is a tough finish to the season after having 5 straight 35+ Win Seasons after excluding the Covid season.The Eagles had Second Baseman Freilin Cabrera make 2nd-Team SAC All-Conf and five Different Eagles make the NCCAA  All-Central Region team and another Eagle received an Honorable mention.
