The first Sunday of the new academic year provided an opportunity for Southwestern Christian University student-athletes to come together for more than competition—it was a chance to begin the year united in worship.

Student-athletes from every SCU athletics program gathered for the university's first Sunday church service, joining fellow students, faculty, and staff as the campus community celebrated the start of a new school year centered on faith.
