SCU Falls to #10 USAO in SAC Quarterfinals

Chickasha, Okla—Southwestern Christian University (13-14, 10-12 SAC) has 5 guys in double digits but still can not handle Science of Arts University (25-5, 19-3 SAC) losing 110-100 in the Sac Quarterfinals Tournament. The Drovers shot 37-80 from the field averaging 46%, 8-27 from the three point line averaging 29% and shot 28-33 from the free throw line averaging 84%. Cameron Hines led the Drovers in scoring with 34 points.

The Eagles shot 35-74 from the floor averaging 47%, also shot 12-26 from three (46%) and from the free throw line shot 18-26 (69%). The Eagles were out-rebounded by USAO 58-37, Luiz Machado Jr lead the Eagles with 21 points on the afternoon. The Eagles had only 5 offensive rebounds, The bench contributed 40 points to the effort, Jordan Williams led the Eagles with 10 assist.

 Ronald Moore had 17 points. Khristien White had 16 points Derek Dantzler helped the team with 13 points and 7 rebounds.

Southwestern Christian University looks forward to competing in The NCCAA National Tournament in the next couple of weeks.
