49 Eagles Named 2025-26 Sooner Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Southwestern Christian University celebrated another outstanding year of academic excellence as 49 Eagle student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 Sooner Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete list, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

The conference recognized 696 student-athletes across the SAC for their accomplishments in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. To earn Scholar-Athlete recognition, student-athletes must compete in an NAIA-recognized sport, be at least a junior academically, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, and meet the conference's residency requirements.

Texas Wesleyan led the conference with 107 Scholar-Athletes, followed by Oklahoma City with 105 and Nelson with 87.

Southwestern Christian's 49 honorees represented nine athletic programs, highlighting the University's continued commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics.

Jacob Hogan, Tyler Stelly, Dominic Ornelas, Dario Paredes, Aiden O'Malley, Jayden Thornton, and James Folsom.

Men's Basketball (4)

Camryn Reed, Jalen Goar, Jonah Jenkins, and Dason Cook.

Men's Soccer (7)

Louis Heising, Marcos Arranz, Sergio Alvarez, Mathieu Barbirati, Louis Dufraiche, Adam Byzdra, and Enzo Camps.

Men's Golf (2)

Coleton Calderon and Dawson Branstetter.

Volleyball (5)

Megan Graham, Alejandra Acuna, Lisa Gomez-Lopez, Angeles Tejada, and Brianna DeVries.

Women's Basketball (7)

Jayden Mason, Alexus Roberson, Megan Eischen, Chrissen Harland, Summer Fergerson, Brooke Robertson, and Landri Hussey.

Softball (8)

Hannah Keele, Ebony Garza, Jasmine Olivas, Jessie Moralez, Kylee Coy, Jessica Czikra, Alexis Underwood, and Jayley Ray.

Women's Golf (3)

Katie Moore, Emily Shelton, and Victoria Wiedel.

Women's Soccer (6)

Riley Stanfill, Shosona Graham, Abbigail Johnson, Lorelai Puglisi, Camryn Miller, and Maddie Krone.

The recognition reflects Southwestern Christian University's dedication to developing student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom. By placing 49 student-athletes on the Sooner Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete list, the Eagles continue to demonstrate that success at SCU extends far beyond the field of play.
