The Southwestern Christian University men's basketball team battled throughout the game but fell 73–52 to Langston University on Friday afternoon in Bethany.
Michal Wooldridge led the Eagles with 10 points, consistently attacking the paint and getting to the free-throw line. Jalen Goar added nine points, including two three-pointers, while Elijah Garcia contributed eight points off the bench to spark SCU offensively.
Kameron Burris and JaColby Williams each scored six points, and Dason Cook and Brody Smith chipped in five points apiece as the Eagles worked to keep pace.
SCU continued to compete on both ends of the floor, but Langston's efficiency and depth created separation late. The Eagles now turn their focus to the next conference matchup as they continue SAC play.
