In a formidable softball conference showdown on March 9, 2025, the Southwestern Christian University Eagles demonstrated their might by sweeping a doubleheader against the Langston Lions in Langston, Okla. The Eagles secured an emphatic first game victory with a staggering score of 16-4, followed by another strong performance in the second game, triumphing 11-2.

The Eagles, led by their powerhouse players including Trinity Norwood and Alexis Cahwee, showcased their dominant offensive skills. In the first game, Keele, Norwood, Elam, Cahwee, Moralez, Jones, Gladness, Burleson, and Patton altogether chalked up a total of 16 runs. The impactful game saw Norwood and Cahwee hitting home runs, which bolstered the team's score significantly. Norwood also earned praise for connecting a homerun with a triple and amassing multiple RBIs, showcasing her comprehensive skills at play.

The force did not subside in the second game of the doubleheader, where the Eagles continued their high-flying performance by scoring 11 more runs through the efforts of Keele, Norwood, Elam, Cahwee, Burleson, and Patton. Once more, Cahwee managed to send the ball over the fence, further proving her stainless ability in crucial scenarios.
