Southwestern Christian couldn't overcome a fast start from Oklahoma City on Monday night, falling 101–69 in Sooner Athletic Conference play. The Eagles trailed 51–27 at halftime and were unable to cut into the deficit despite a stronger second half.
SCU's bench provided a bright spot, contributing 46 points. Brody Smith led the Eagles with 10 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting performance, including a three-pointer. Dason Cook added nine points and six rebounds, while Augustine Chibuko finished with eight points.
Jordun Willard chipped in six points and grabbed two rebounds, and Michal Wooldridge also scored six while collecting a team-high six boards.
Southwestern Christian moves to 5–6 on the season and 3–3 in SAC play. The Eagles will look to regroup as conference action continues.
