CHICKASHA, Okla. — Southwestern Christian University women's soccer dropped a tough road match Saturday, falling 7–0 to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma at McLaughlin Field.
The Drovers' offense proved relentless from start to finish, scoring four times in the opening half and adding three more goals after the break. USAO's Paula Casajus led the way with a hat trick and two assists, while Ashlee Davison added two goals and an assist.
Despite the scoreline, SCU goalkeeper Lorelai Puglisi made seven saves under heavy pressure. The Eagles managed nine shots — five of which were on target — with Katelyn Fisher, Monse Villacres, Sofia Jimenez, Abbigail Johnson, and Rachel Foster each recording shots on goal.
With the loss, Southwestern Christian moved to 11-4-1 overall and 4-4 in Sooner Athletic Conference play. The Eagles will aim to bounce back in their next conference matchup as they look to close the regular season on a strong note.
