Dallas, TX - The University of North Texas at Dallas hosted Southwestern Christian University tonight in a Sooner Athletic Conference bout. At the end of regulation, SCU was handed the loss, 75-64.
Southwestern Christian struggled to match UNTD in the first half, only finding 22 points, but came out in the second and almost doubled their first half total. However, the comeback attempt was unable to overcome a UNTD team that put up 40 in the first and 35 in the second.
Michal Wooldridge performed well tonight, going 8-13 from the field, bringing down 11 rebounds, and totaling 18 points. Behind him,
Deondre Dunn had 16 points and
Rob Gambill had 12, with the Gambill rounding out the Eagles in double-digit point totals.
Seth Wilkins found 5 points,
Chris Fetuga found 4, and many Eagles had 3 or 2 points. Although quiet on the shooting side,
Deuce Kennedy finished the night with 8 assists, 3 rebounds, and a steal, with his assists leading SCU and tie-ing UNTD's assist leader.
