Oklahoma City, Okla. - Southwestern Christian University and Central Christian College of Kansas played tonight in a conference match-up. Although the two teams were evenly matched in the paint, Central Christian would take the game, 88-67.
Both teams would finish the night with 36 points in the paint, but Central Christian would find almost 20 points off of turnovers. Although both teams dealt with some injuries to key players, the Tigers were able to take over the game in the second with a massive performance from Jevarrick Butler. On the Eagles' side,
Michal Wooldridge had 22 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double, while
Deuce Kennedy finished with 11 points and 4 assists.
Taylor Turner grabbed nine points off of his three-ball, and
George McCurdy also found shot 50% from the field to finish with 8 points. McCurdy would have 5 assists, and both he and Kennedy finished with 2 rebounds and a steal.
Chris Fetuga went 2-4 from the field and had 5 points, pulling in five rebounds of his own while assisting two.
