Bethany, Okla. - Southwestern Christian University took down Nelson University tonight, ending in a final score of 81-76. The two teams were evenly matched throughout much of the contest, but it would be the Eagles starting 2025 off on the right foot.
SCU shot above 40% from both the field and from beyond the arc, a major aspect of their victory tonight. Although the team struggled with turnovers and from the line, the Eagles out-rebounded Nelson and did not let themselves get into the foul trouble Nelson did.
