Point Lookout, MO - The Lady Cats were too much for the Southwestern Christian University Eagles to handle, as SCU fell in three sets.
SCU put up a strong fight against the College of the Ozarks, but were unable to steal away a win tonight. Set One ended 17-25, Set Two ended 23-25, and Set Three ended 17-25. The Eagles got off to a slow start offensively, but picked up the pace in the second set. However, the Lady Cats outlasted SCU with the help of strong net defense.
Paige McGee led SCU in kills with 10 on 19 attempts. She only had two attacking errors.
Kloe Booker-Searcy and
Alondra Esparza both had 6 kills, with Booker-Searcy also picking up an assist.
Faith DeSouza got back into form tonight, with 14 assists and 5 kills, complimented by 10 digs.
Lotta Lischka grabbed a kill and 13 digs, as she further cemented her role in the team.
