Siloam Springs, Ark. - Southwestern Christian University fell in straight sets against the John Brown University Golden Eagles to begin Sooner Athletic Conference play. The Eagles struggled offensively against a strong JBU squad, but gave themselves a chance in the match through their defense.
SCU dropped Set One 12-25, Set Two 14-25, and Set Three 18-25.
Kloe Booker-Searcy led SCU with 6 kills on the night, followed closely by
Paige McGee and
Brianna DeVries, who had five kills each.
Faith DeSouza and
Meghan Graham had 11 and 5 assists, respectively. The Eagles struggled with attacking errors in particular, but Graham,

Lotta Lischka all racking up double-digit digs helped SCU get offensive chances.
