Bethany, Okla. - Southwestern Christian dropped the match against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in four sets tonight. After jumping out to an early lead, it seemed like the momentum was completely in the Eagles' favor. However, USAO would not go down without a fight, taking both the second and third sets. In the fourth and final set, both teams fought hard to stay alive. As the Eagles closed in on forcing a fifth set, the Drovers rallied to steal the match in a win-by-two scenario.
Both squads struggled offensively, with USAO swinging above .100 only once, while SCU was unable to overcome their attacking errors.
