McPherson, KS. - Southwestern Christian took to the road tonight to take on Central Christian College of Kansas and would walk away with a 69-63 victory. The win marks SCU's second Sooner Athletic Conference victory, and gives the Eagles momentum heading back home.
Jayden Mason led SCU with 15 points on 2-5 shooting from the field, aided by 10-11 shooting at the line. She also picked up 5 rebounds and 3 assists on the night.
Kelsie McCollom was the team's second-highest scorer with 11, going a 4-4 from the line and 3-4 from the field in only 7 minutes on the floor.
Delaney Reimer picked up 10 points with 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals in an incredible night for the graduate student.
Whitney Wade picked up 9 points and a steal, while multiple Eagles collected five rebounds, including
Chrissen Harland and
Allison Kennedy. The victory allows SCU to get back in the win column and build confidence before defending their home turf against a strong Wayland Baptist squad.
