Box Score Chickasha, Okla. - Southwestern Christian took a close loss traveling to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma tonight, by a final score of 74-79. SCU played well and found success in the rebound game, but were ultimately unable to compete with the three-point and free throw efficiency of the Drovers.
Michal Wooldridge led SCU offensively, finishing with 17 points, as he finished 8-14 from the field and 1-2 from the line.
Deondre Dunn had a great night, ending with a double-double, totaling 11 rebounds and 16 points.
George McCurdy threatened a double-double of his own, as he finished with 15 points and only 1 rebound shy of the mark at nine. McCurdy led SCU with 3 assists, and every Eagle that entered the game finished with at least 1 assist, another product of the team-focused offense the Eagles have been developing.Â
Noels Slivackis put up ten points with a balanced offense, shooting 3-8 from the field and 2-3 from beyond the arc.
