Moore, Okla. - Southwestern Christian traveled to Mid-America Christian University to take on their conference opponent in their second to last road game of the regular season. After falling behind early, the Eagles put together increasingly competitive sets, but fell short of the comeback.
Alondra Esparza had a good night, as she finished tied for the team lead in kills with 7, a service ace, and a .353 hit%.
Kloe Booker-Searcy also finished with 7 kills, finding 5 digs in addition.
Paige McGee finished with 4 kills, while
Meghan Graham and
Faith DeSouza both had 12 assists. Graham would also lead the team in digs with 10. SCU turned up the heat in the third set, trying to take advantage of Mid-America's mistakes, but despite some strong individual performances, it was too little too late for SCU.
