McPherson, Kansas - The Eagles picked up a nice win against Central Christian tonight, picking up momentum for the final game of the 2024 regular season. The final score was 3-1, with the Eagles scoring 1 goal in the first half and 2 goals in the second.
Katelyn Fisher got the scoring started early, picking up SCU's first goal after ten minutes of play. She was assisted by
Camryn Miller on the shot.
Abbigail Johnson scored both the second and third goals, as she took over the second half for the Eagles. The Tigers found their one goal in the second half, but it was too little too late for Central Christian, as SCU walked away with the win.
Lorelai Puglisi defended the net for all 90 minutes, saving 3 goals to 1 allowed.
