Southwestern Christian taken down by Bobcats

Bethany, Okla. - The Southwestern Christian University Eagles were defeated in three sets tonight by the College of the Ozarks Bobcats. Despite close second and third sets, the Ozarks held on as the Eagles fell to 3-14 on the season.

Despite a rocky start in the first set, SCU would turn up the heat in the second and third sets. Paige McGee led the Eagles offense with 6 kills on the night as the Eagles pushed Set 2 to Win-By-Two, followed closely by Alondra Esparza, who had 5 kills. The Bobcats would sneak out the Set Two win 26-24, and would follow up with a Set Three win by a score of 25-20. Kloe Booker-Searcy and Naveah Ramsey both picked up 4 kills, while SCU as a team totaled more blocks and digs than the Bobcats.
