The Southwestern Christian University Men's basketball team was in action tonight in Waxahachie Tx, where they were unable to fan the spark into a flame in a tough loss. This was the Eagles twentieth encounter with the Lions.

Robert Chapman led the team tonight as 1 of the four players in double figures with 18, followed Michal Wooldridge with 11 points. Shawn Hopkins finished with 12 points, Steven Davis had 11 points.

Ronald Moore pulled down  six rebounds. Shawn Hopkins also  contributed with six rebounds for the Eagles. The Eagles were unable to keep pace with the 25th ranked Lions.

• The Eagles shot 43.8 percent from the floor while the Lions had a 48.1 percent mark

• Robert Chapman's 18 points came on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor and a 6-of-9 effort from three.

• SCU lost the rebound battle as they had 33 to SAGU's 38

• SCU finished with a 0-1 loss in blocked shots,
