Bethany,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(26-14, 6-9 SAC) had no trouble handling Bacone, sweeping the doubleheader over the Warriors taking Game one 9-0 and Game two 17-2, with these two wins, SCU completes the season series sweep, winning all six games.
Game 1:
Southwestern Christian opened the scoring in the third with a single through the left side by Jhors Gomez that would score Trey Weldon from second to go up 1-0. The Eagles would have a big fourth inning scoring six runs, Braden Browning would hit a sac fly to left to bring in a run (2-0 SCU), then later Jake Cox would bunt for a single to score Ayres from third (3-0 SCU), Southwestern Christian would go on to score four more runs on three wild pitches and one passed ball to move the lead to 7-0. In the sixth Kyler Ayres would single down the right field line to score two runs to give the Eagles a 9-0 lead. Holden Koontz would pick up the dub today to move to 2-1 on the season, he finished the day throwing four innings giving up no runs and striking out eight, Tagen Conary would come in relief throwing three innings and fanning three, these two pitchers would combine for a two hit shutout.

Southwestern Christian would absolutely run away with this game early scoring seven runs in the first, eight in the second, one in the third, and one in the fifth. The Eagles would tally 17 runs on 12 hits and 0 errors, a good clean baseball game on SCU part. Jhors Gomez would go yard in the second with a Three run bomb to push the Eagles lead to 15-0 over the Warriors. Gavin Sochor got the start and picked up his first win on the season moving to 1-0.
