Bethany,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(23-12, 5-7 SAC) cruised in the day two sweep of the Tri-match beating Crowley's Ridge, 10-3 and taking down the Bacone Warriors 16-10 in game two.
Game 1: vs Crowley's Ridge (W 10-3)
Crowley's Ridge opened the scoring in the first with one run to take the early lead at 1-0. The Eagles would respond in their half of the first with a big a three run inning starting with Weldon coming into score on a wild pitch that walked Gomez and in the next at-bat Paredes would double down the left field and drive in two runs to give SCU the lead at 3-1. Southwestern Christian would add two insurance runs in the second starting with Gomez hitting a double down the left field line scoring one run and in the next at-bat Paredes would single through the left driving in one run to extend the SCU lead to 5-1 in the second. In the fourth, Crowley's Ridge would cut into the lead with a sac fly to right to make it a 5-2 ball game. Southwestern Christian would respond back to the Pioneers with a run of their own with Gomez hitting a single up the middle to push the score to 6-2. The Pioneers would score on an SCU error to cut the deficit in half at 6-3. Southwestern Christian would go off for a four run sixth inning, starting with Gomez hitting a Homerun over Right, then two at-bats later Nelson hit a single through the left side to score one run and make it 8-3. Later the Eagles would score two runs on a couple Pioneers Errors to make it 10-3.

Game 2: vs Bacone (W 16-10)
Bacone and Southwestern Christian had a big offensive showing in this game both teams combining for 26 hits in this game. Bacone would take the early lead in the first with one run to make it 1-0. The Eagles would respond with five runs on four base hits and an error by the Warriors to make it 5-1. Southwestern Christian would add a run in the fourth when Sparks would single up the middle to move the Eagle lead to 6-1. The Warriors with some good displays of hitting and a few errors by the Eagles scored six runs in the top of the fifth to retake the lead at 7-6. Southwestern Christian would respond back with three runs in the fifth and seven in the sixth to push their lead to 16-7 over Bacone. The Warriors would not go down quietly though, scoring three runs in seventh to cut the lead to 16-10, but the rally would be stopped their to end the game.
