Bethany, Okla. --In two vastly different contests, Southwestern Christian (21-12, 5-
7 SAC) secured two wins against Crowley's Ridge College (10-14, 4-1 CAC) and Bacone
College (1-19, 1-3 CAC) with a Kyler Ayres walk-off and a Henrry Ogando and Tyler Stelly
combined shutout, respectively. SCU went to the last inning against Crowley's Ridge, winning
7-6, but dominated Bacone early, ending with a final score of 22-0.

Game 1:
SCU got on the board first when Tyler Reeves scored on a passed ball in the first, and extended
the lead to three when Draike Sparks notched a two-RBI double into center field. Crowley's
Ridge answered quickly with two runs in the third, but SCU maintained its lead by scoring on a
Joseph Boone single and a double play in the same inning. Crowley's Ridge scored twice more
in the fifth with a double and a single, but Jhors Gomez picked up another run for the Eagles by
scoring on an error in the fifth. In the top of the seventh Crowley's Ridge would tie the game up
on a bases-loaded hit by pitch and an RBI single, but pinch hitter Kyler Ayres answered with an
RBI single of his own, scoring Trey Weldon and sealing the game for SCU in the seventh.

Game 2:
Tyler Reeves got the scoring started with an RBI single in the first inning and scored on a passed
ball shortly after. Jhors Gomez scored on an infield error in the first, followed by Phoenix Nelson
crossing home on an infield error in the same inning. An RBI single by Draike Sparks in the
second scored Kyler Ayres. In the third inning both Joseph Boone and Jake Cox scored on a
series of errors by the Bacone pitcher and first baseman, followed by an RBI double by Sparks.
Braden Browning scored on a bases-loaded walk in the fourth, followed closely by Cox, who
scored on a sacrifice fly to center by Sparks. Dario Paredes notched an RBI single, and Ayres
and Braden Browning scored. Nelson would score both Paredes and Gomez with a double in the
same inning, and later cross the plate himself thanks to a Cox single. In the fifth, Nelson would
again score a runner, bringing Sparks home on an RBI single. Gomez scored in the same inning
on a Boone sacrifice fly, while Paredes and Nelson would tally two more runs in the fifth when
they scored on an error by the Bacone center fielder. Finally, Ayres picked up an RBI triple in the
fifth, scoring Cox, and marking the end of SCU offensive production.
