Bethany,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(16-4, 4-4 SAC) completes the series sweep over Texas Wesleyan for the first time in program history, winning Game one 4-3 and coming from behind to win Game two 6-4.
Game 1:
Southwestern Christian would open the scoring in the first inning on Dropped Third strike that allowed
Hannah Keele to advance home on the throw to give the Eagles an early 1-0 lead. SCU would add an insurance run in the third on single hit by
Alys Parr through the left side that scored
Maliyah Patton from second to push the lead to 2-0. Texas Wesleyan would notch a run in the fourth off a sac fly to center to cut the score to 2-1. The Eagles would respond in their half of the fourth when
Mallori Brown would double down the left field line that scored two runners from second and third to push the SCU advantage to 4-1. The Rams would respond in the fifth with two runs of their own to cut the lead to one at 4-3, but
Harli Clem would get the nod in the sixth and seventh and shut down the Rams offense and pick up the save, her first on the season and pick up the win for Southwestern Christian.
Addison Hanna would get the dub on the day and move to 2-2 on the season.

Game 2:
The Eagles would score a run in the first inning on a Texas Wesleyan throwing error that scored
Mallori Brown from third to take the early lead at 1-0. The Rams would respond with a three run second inning to take the lead for the first time in the series at 3-1. Southwestern Christian would cut into the lead when
Maliyah Patton hit a triple down the right field line that scored one run to make it a 3-2 ball game still favor of the Rams. Texas Wesleyan would add a run in the fifth off a solo homerun to center to extend their lead to 4-2. Southwestern Christian would not relent though, in the fifth after an error by the Rams that let the inning continue with runners on first and second
Jessie Moralez would hit a single to Deep Right that cleared the bases to tie the game at 4-4. The Eagles would take the lead in the sixth with a double by
Mallori Brown that scored the runner from second to move the score to 5-4 in favor of SCU, later
Holly Elam would single through the left side to extend the lead to 6-4.
Lauren Schallert would stifle the Rams offense with a dominate showing of pitching and pick up her seventh win on the season moving to 7-1.
