Goodwell,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(18-4, 6-4 SAC) sweeps Day one of the series over the OPSU Aggies, winning in comeback fashion Game one 13-9 and a combined five hti shutout in Game two winning 5-0.
Game 1:
Panhandle State would take advantage of some SCU mistakes in the beginning of the game scoring four runs in the first and three in the second to take a whopping 7-0 lead over the Eagles. Southwestern Christian will not go down with out putting up a fight and would respond with big innings of their own, the Eagles would finally get their offensive scoring started with
Hannah Keele hitting a single to left center for an RBI, then later
Holly Elam would double to right center with bases loaded, clearing them and picking up three RBIs to really cut into the lead and make it a 7-4 ball game. SCU would not go away, in the top of the fourth, the Eagles would launch another assault on the scoreboard with three runs to tie the game, starting with
Alys Parr hitting a single to left center to nab the RBI,
Mallori Brown a couple at-bats later would also single to left center to scratch two across to tie the game at 7-7. The Aggies would retake the lead in the fifth off a double to left center to make it 8-7 over SCU. But Southwestern Christian kept on fighting in the sixth responding with three runs,
Madison Jones would reach on a Aggies error that scored one, 8-8, then later
Mallori Brown would score stealing home on a double steal that would give the lead to the Eagles at 9-8, then a couple at-bats later in the sixth
Addison Hanna would single to left center to add insurance to the lead to make it 10-8. The Eagles in the seventh would more insurance runs,
Hannah Keele would hit a sac fly to center to snatch a RBI, and little bit later SCU would score a run on an Aggies error, 12-8,
Holly Elam would later hit a sac fly to right that nabbed a RBI to make it 13-8 heading into the bottom of the seventh. OPSU would score on run in the bottom half of the seventh on a sac fly but that rally would stopped after that, with SCU winning Game one and
Lauren Schallert getting the win and making eight wins on the campaign so far.

Southwestern Christian would pick up right where they left off in the first game scoring one run in the first with
Holly Elam hitting a ground ball to the left side that did result in an out but would score
Hannah Keele from third, later in the first
Mallori Brown would score on a wild pitch to give the Eagles an early 2-0 lead over the Aggies. The Eagles would notch a couple of insurance runs in the fourth off a
Hannah Keele two RBI single up the middle that scored
Maliyah Patton and
Megan Vess to make it 4-0. Southwestern Christian would notch one run in the fifth on single to left center by
Hannah Keele that scored
Jalen Durrence from second to give SCU a 5-0 lead. The Eagles pitching staff combined for a five hit shutout and saw
Elisha Stilwell pick up win number two on the season.
