Bethany,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(14-4, 2-4 SAC) ruled the roost today as they sweep the Day one doubleheader over Texas Wesleyan, winning Game one 3-0 and Game two 8-1 over the Rams.
Game 1:
Pitching dominated Game one with no score until the fourth, Southwestern Christian would start the scoring with
Holly Elam hitting a single up the middle scoring
Megan Vess from Second to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Then in the fifth
Jessie Moralez would double to left center to score
Hannah Keele from first to push the score to 2-0. Later in the sixth
Mallori Brown would score on a Texas Wesleyan throwing error to make it 3-0.
Harli Clem had no problem shutting the door on the Rams offense only allowing 4 hits and no runs, while facing 26 batters in the game, she picks up the win and moves to 5-1 on the season.

Game 2:
Southwestern Christian would start Game two running with the first at-bat
Hannah Keele would hit a Solo Bomb over Right field to give the Eagles an early 1-0 lead, later in the first
Madison Jones would sac bunt that would score a run, 2-0, and two at-bats later
Addison Hanna would double down the left field line scoring a runner from second to make 3-0. The Eagles would add two runs in the second starting with
Jalen Durrence hitting a single to the right side that scored a run from second and later
Madison Jones would hit a sac fly that would bring in the run from third to extend the lead to 5-0. Texas Wesleyan would respond in the third, notching a run on the board off a double that scored a runner from second to cut into the game and make the score 5-1. The Eagles would notch three runs in the sixth starting with
Madison Jones hitting a single to right center that scored two runs and in the next at-bat
Megan Vess would hit a sac fly to bring in a run from third and add the insurance run to push the lead to 8-1 over the Rams.
Lauren Schallert would throw six innings in the appearance and pick up the win and move to 6-1 on the campaign,
Elisha Stilwell would close the door on the pen in the seventh only allowing one hit and facing four batters.
