Oklahoma City,OK.-- Southwestern Christian for the first time in program History are tournament Conference Champions beating No.4 seed Wayland Baptist 70-60 and are heading to the National tournament. A Cinderella Story very few expected and they were and will be dancing all night in OKC, The Road to Sioux City begins now!

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 22-57(39%) from the floor, while shooting 7-17(41%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 19-24(68%) from the Free Throw Line. The Eagles had 42 Rebounds to the Flying Queens 32, Christina Jenkins and Lauren Wade both leading the way with eight a piece, and SCU finished the night with 17 assist,Jayden Mason leading the team with six. Southwestern Christian had six steals on the night, Jayden Mason and Delaney Reimer both lead the way with two steals a piece.

Tresha Yager led the scoring for SCU with 17 pts, 3 Rebs,& 2 Ast on 4-8 shooting, all from beyond the Arc and 5-5 from the Charity Strike. Christina Jenkins finished the night with 13 pts, 8 Reb, 3 Ast, & 1 Stls. Delaney Reimer finished the night with 12 pts, 4 Reb, & 2 Stls. Jayden Mason finished the night with 11 pts, 6 Ast, 4 Reb, & 2 Stls.

Southwestern Christian will now wait for the seeding and placement for the NAIA National tournament. The Selection Show for the NAIA Women's Basketball National tournament will take place on Thursday, March 2nd at 6:00 PM by the NAIA on the NAIA YouTube page.
