Bethany, Okla.-- Southwestern Christian(13-12, 11-9 SAC) started off strong and did not let off the gas until the end of the game winning 67 to 50 against University of North Texas of Dallas. The Trailblazers shot 19-56 from the field(34%). Zyunn Cormier led UNTD with 24 points. The Trailblazers shot 2-10 (20%) from three. SCU had 10 steals on the day with 3 blocks.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 25-62(40%) from the floor, while shooting 5 of 15  (33%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 12 for 15 (80%) from the charity stripe. The bench of SCU contributed 20 points. The Eagles had 4 athletes in double digits with points, the leading scorer was Lauren Wade with 16 points. Jayden Mason helped the team with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Southwestern Christian had 38 rebounds on the day, 28 on the defensive glass. SCU ended the day with 16 assists overall. Tresha Yeager finished the day with 10 points, on 50% shooting,MJ Case finished with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assist.

Southwestern Christian returns to action in Shawnee Okla. on February 16th at 6:00 PM against Oklahoma City for the final away game in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
