Lady Eagles fly past Stars

Shawnee, Okla.-- Southwestern Christian(14-12, 12-9 in SAC) took down the stars in a 61-53 win. The Stars shot 20-56 from the field(36%).   Amaya Gordon Was the Stars leading scorer with 12 points and  5 assists  and 6 rebounds. The Stars shot 6-22 (27%) from three. SCU had 7 steals on the day.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 21-52(40 %) from the floor, while shooting 7 of 15 (47%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 12 for 21  (57%) from the free throw line. The bench of SCU contributed 29 points. Jayden Mason controlled the game as the Eagles top scorer with 15 points. Southwestern had 42 rebounds on the day, 28 on the defensive glass. SCU ended the day with 8 assists overall. Lauren Wade finished the day with 8 points, 10 rebounds, Delaney Reimer finished with 11 points, 5 rebounds  and Tresha Yeager finished with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist.

Southwestern Christian returns to action at Home on February 18 at 4 PM against John Brown University for the final Sooner Athletic Conference matchup.
