Fort Worth,TX.-- Southwestern Christian(1-2) takes the loss in Fort Worth to Texas Wesleyan(6-1) with a 3-1 Loss.

. The first twenty minutes of the game was back and forth until Texas Wesleyan opened the scoring in the 21st minute of the match to make it 1-0.The Eagles would answer back quickly with a Goal of their own. In the 22nd minute Sanele Mdingi would score tying the game at 1-1. Soon after the Rams would score the Go-Ahead Goal after in the 26th minute of the game. Going into the half the score was 2-1.  

The Rams came out of the half hot as they would extend the lead 3-1 in the 47th minute. Things got a bit chippy in the second half with emotions flying, and total of nine yellow cards were issued during the game all happening in the second half. Four coming from the Ram's and five from the Eagles. #1 Salvatore Della Vella was the goal keeper for the Eagles having four saves with three goals allowed. 

Southwestern Christian had fourteen shots with twelve of those coming in the second half. Eight of these shots were on goal. The Texas Wesleyan Rams had a total of twelve shots with eight in the first half and four in the second. Eight out of the twelve were on goal.

Southwestern Christian returns to action on the road on Saturday, September 24th at 4:00pm in Sterling,KS against Sterling College.
